Battle Royale Solos Launches in REDSEC with Season 3 Blastpoint Update
Battle Royale Solos is now a permanent REDSEC mode , arriving with the Season 3 Blastpoint Update after a Battlefield Labs test. The free-for-all drops 80 players (down from 100) into a faster-collapsing NXC circle.
Main Battle Tanks, Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Vehicle Keycards are pulled entirely. Missions, rewards and Custom Weapon Drops are all retuned for a single soldier.
EA's guide frames Solos as both a proving ground for lone players and a low-pressure space to test weapons, run Exploration Challenges and learn Fort Lyndon. The core loop matches Quads — pick a Class, jump, loot Chests, complete Missions, dodge the circle — but several systems are scaled down.
80 players per lobby instead of 100.
Faster NXC circle , noticeably quicker to collapse than Duos or Quads.
No Main Battle Tanks or IFVs , and Vehicle Keycards are removed.
Fewer Custom Weapon Drops across the match.
Solo-scaled Missions — a Data Extraction now needs one flash drive, not several; weapon rewards drop to two instead of four.
No Redeploys, Mobile Redeploys or Defibrillators beyond the early Second Chance.
The article runs through Class roles — Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon — drop-location tactics, early/mid/end-game strategy, and a ten-tip closer that leans on composure and treating Custom Weapon Drops as bait. One stated guilty pleasure: drop straight into Golf Course to hunt a Dev Dog Tag.
