Blastpoint Known Issues: Deployment Fix Found, REDSEC Bug Persists

A pre-weekend status post from the Battlefield team walks through four issues reported since the Blastpoint update, led by the root cause of the PC deployment-screen jumping bug, which has now been pinned down. No rollout date is committed for any of the fixes, with fuller detail promised next week. A REDSEC lighting fix that shipped Tuesday failed, while black-screen hangs and missing Bonus Path points remain under investigation.

The team says it is still working through several of the problems and won't lock in a rollout date yet. The four issues it addressed:

Deployment screen jumping on PC: the root cause is identified, and players can pick a deploy point with the keyboard as a stopgap while a fix is weighed.

REDSEC lighting bug: the fix meant to land with Tuesday's update did not take, so the investigation continues.

Black screen or hang on the Battlefield 6 logo: reported after leaving a match or installing content through the in-game menu; EA suggests handling campaign installs via the EA app instead.

Missing Bonus Path points: Wednesday's fix left scattered shortfalls tied to re-rolls, but 50 more Explosive Charge points arrive Tuesday so affected players can complete the path.
