Dead Space Event Guide Details Marker Shrines and Semiconductor Rewards

An event guide frames Dead Space: Convergence, the Halloween crossover that began October 20, as a non-canon "what if" in which a Marker kept hidden beneath Area 51 turns soldiers against each other. Its Marker Incursion mode sends 16 players after Marker Shrines, and the DS-23 Pulse Rifle shows up as a Battle Pickup there and in both Royale modes.

The guide opens with the two series' shared history: Isaac Clarke's Advanced Suit helmet tucked into Battlefield 3's Aftermath expansion, Dead Space nods across Battlefield Hardline from Visceral Games, the studio behind the original Dead Space, and the Outbreak event in Battlefield 2042 with its themed rewards.

Marked Soldiers are troops under the Marker's influence who treat allies as enemies and guard the source at any cost

Marker Shrines are smaller replicas that tighten the Marker's grip on an area and pull in extra resistance, so destroying them keeps a squad moving

Semiconductors, the event currency, come from event challenges, Marked Soldier eliminations in Marker Incursion, and finds in Battle Royale and Rapid Royale

Aegis VII Soldier Skin leads the rewards, modelled on the series' engineering suits, alongside a RIG-Certified SMG Weapon Skin, weapon stickers, patches, player card backgrounds and Dead Space-themed store bundles

Hidden details include strange transmissions, references and environmental storytelling spread through the event
