Free Trial Week Opens Six Modes Across Four Maps
A one-week free trial opens Battlefield 6 to everyone from August 18 to 25, with six modes playable across four maps: Wake Island, Tsuru Reef, Cairo Bazaar, and Hagental Base. Access comes through the free-to-play Battlefield REDSEC download rather than a purchase, and the new Top Gun: Carrier Strike mode is in the rotation. Unlocks earned during the week stay on the account once it ends.
EA is routing the trial through the REDSEC client, so the entry point is a free download on each platform rather than a timed licence for the paid game.

Six modes, five of them named by EA: Top Gun: Carrier Strike, Conquest, Breakthrough, Escalation, and Casual Breakthrough.

Progress persists: unlocks earned in the trial carry into free-to-play REDSEC after August 25.
