Nine Launch Maps Span Five Theatres of War
Battlefield 6 launches with nine maps across five theatres : Cairo, Gibraltar, Tajikistan, Brooklyn, and Legacy (a returning BF3 venue). Each map contains multiple Combat Zones — customised versions tuned to specific multiplayer modes with adjusted object placement and destruction mechanics.
The launch lineup by theatre:
Siege of Cairo : urban combat — infantry and tanks in central Cairo streets
New Sobek City : construction site — infantry, tanks, helicopters across sand dunes
Iberian Offensive (Gibraltar): winding streets with heavily-armoured vehicle combat
Saints Quarter (Gibraltar): close-quarters infantry-only in the Old Town
Mirak Valley : largest launch map — all-out warfare with diverse vehicles
Liberation Peak (Tajikistan): mountainous terrain for aerial dogfights and strategic positioning
Manhattan Bridge (Brooklyn): urban combat blending gunplay with destructible environments
Empire State (Brooklyn): infantry-only across alleys and rooftops
Operation Firestorm : returning BF3 map — burning oil field combat
