Platoons and B-81 Cavalry Delayed; Phase 3 Still Lands December 8
Battlefield Studios is holding back Platoons and the B-81 Cavalry, saying neither clears its internal quality bar for release. Season 5 Phase 3 still goes live on December 8 with a new Operation, updates to Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City, and the winter event. No new date was given for either delayed feature.
The notice follows the October 21 community update, which had placed Platoons in Phase 3.
Phase 3 on December 8 keeps its new Operation, the Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City updates, and the winter event
B-81 Cavalry and Platoons are both postponed so the team can concentrate on realising its intended vision for them
Wider 2027 plans are due shortly after the holidays, and further word on these two features is promised
