Season 5 Roadmap Opens With Vegas Strip, Area 51 and Rapid Royale

EA's Season 5: Siege of Vegas roadmap opens on October 13 with two new maps, Vegas Strip and Area 51, plus the Rapid Royale mode for REDSEC and four launch weapons. Two further updates follow: Casino Heist on November 10 and Frozen Aces on December 8. EA calls it the game's biggest season so far.

Launch covers new maps, weapons and competitive play, with the later updates adding a third map and long-requested features.

Vegas Strip spans casinos, hotel interiors, streets and storm drains, while Area 51 pairs desert vehicle combat with an underground facility reached through a crater.

Rapid Royale runs Trios and Solos with fewer players and earns squads redeploys through eliminations.

Four weapons arrive at launch: the Mk 24 assault rifle, RSPR SMG, Z84M LMG and ELR-40 bolt-action sniper.

Competitive play adds a new Ranked BR season and REDSEC's Open Series, with the cash-prize Elite Series later and Leaderboards for multiplayer.

The Convergence Event brings Dead Space back for Halloween as a limited-time crossover.

Casino Heist (November 10) adds the infantry-focused European Casino map.

Frozen Aces (December 8) brings Operation High Roller, Platoons, the Server Browser, the B-81 Cavalry and updated Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City.

Gauntlet leaves the game on October 13, and a Full Game Trial runs from October 15 to 19.
