TPM 2.0 Compliance Warning Goes Live In-Game
An in-game TPM 2.0 warning is now appearing for players whose PCs fall short of the anti-cheat requirement, ahead of Season 4. For now it's guidance only, and flagged players can keep playing as normal. EA expects the notice to reach roughly 1% of the active player base, and says most hardware makers have already shipped fixes for known compatibility problems.
The prompt is a heads-up rather than a gate — TPM 2.0 stays optional until a future update turns it into a required anti-cheat measure. EA hasn't dated that change, saying only that more detail will follow first.
Guidance stage: flagged players see the notice but keep full access for now
