Known-issues roundup confirms XP earn rates are back to normal

EA's October 16 status roundup says the backend setting that held down XP and weapon mastery gains after Season 5 launched was rolled back on October 15, and rates have since recovered. A fix is also out for PlayStation 5 Pro players stuck on a white screen at the start of the Campaign, while two newer faults are still under investigation.

The post covers five items, two of them still open:

XP and mastery earn rates: EA calls the throttling unintended, says the backend configuration was reverted on October 15, and reports rates are normal again across core modes

PlayStation 5 Pro Campaign white screen: fixed, so the first chapter now plays on past its opening cutscene

Drag and Revive: in Battle Royale modes the prompt to revive a downed teammate sometimes never shows up or does nothing, and EA is still looking for the cause

Vehicle health regeneration: players report vehicles are slower than they should be to heal on their own once out of a fight, and EA is reviewing it

Phantom Edition GOTY skin: owners are now getting the Game of the Year Edition's new Legendary soldier skin through an in-game inbox message, with no need to buy the upgrade

EA adds that work continues on the fixes it flagged earlier in the week, and that the list is not exhaustive.
