Match Infection Rate Fell to a 2.89% Low in August
August's anticheat report has the Match Infection Rate sliding to 2.89% on August 25, down from the 4.64% it opened the month at, before ticking back up to 3.24% by August 31. Over the same weeks EA Javelin turned away 327,756 attempts to cheat or tamper with the game, with Season 4's Naval Combat launch handing bad actors new things to target.
July's report closed at 4.76%, and the rate had settled to 4.64% by the start of August before falling steadily for most of the month. EA points back to its January update for an explanation of why MIR shifts the way it does.
