Siege of Vegas Opens Season 5 with Two Maps and Rapid Royale
The Siege of Vegas Community Update gives an early look at Season 5: three new maps set in Vegas over the course of the season, two of them playable on day one, plus new weapons and a Server Browser arriving later in the season. In REDSEC, Rapid Royale Solos joins at launch while Gauntlet leaves the active playlists and the Battle Royale Solos/Duos rotation ends. Battlefield Studios says a full reveal follows soon.
Battlefield Studios frames the balance pass around clearer roles for each class's tools, a better infantry-versus-vehicle balance, and healthier REDSEC matchmaking. No launch date is given yet.
Armored vehicles get reworked health regeneration, directional damage and weak spots; the SLM-93A and Igla lose Below Radar, AA cannons improve, and air resupplies become vehicle-specific
M15 AV Mine, PTKM-1R and aim-guided missiles are being retuned
REDSEC rotations: Duos is planned to return later in Season 5, Gauntlet is pulled over a shrinking share of play, with Rapid Royale Solos and Duos expected to rotate
Battle Royale classes get updated Training Paths, armor plating 20% faster, and new starting gadgets: Engineer with Repair Tool and M136 AT, Support with Supply Pouch and Deployable Cover, Recon with T-UGS and Mobile Jammer
PDWs, Carbines, Assault Rifles and LMGs need one more bullet on armored targets at certain ranges; the M39 EMR and SVDM are tuned and DMR/Sniper ammo limits change
Reconnect lets a disconnected player rejoin an active REDSEC match, and more gadgets land in Police Vans, Ambulances and Class Crates
Portal gets both launch maps as Verified Experiences, water on Sandbox and every REDSEC map, and the Crashed Carrier off Fort Lyndon as a high-value POI
Phantom Program stays active in REDSEC beyond Season 4
