Update 1.4.3.0 Ships Tidal Strike, Deep Six, and Proximity Chat

Game Update 1.4.3.0 begins downloading September 15, 2026, 08:00 UTC, and the Tidal Strike content switches on at 12:00 UTC the same day. It opens the Deep Six Collection Event, brings Proximity Chat to Battle Royale as a Battlefield Labs test, starts a new run of the Phantom Program, and rebuilds every Tsuru Reef Breakthrough sector. Reticles are redrawn across all optics, the Interdictor gets a damage rework, and MANPAD locks no longer tell pilots which way to look.

Highlights:

Deep Six runs September 15 to October 12 across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC, with Weapon Packages, cosmetics, and the Diver's Knife for finishing it

Proximity Chat is positional, muffled by walls and vehicles, capped at four speakers, and exposes mute, report, and block on the Battle Royale scoreboard

Tsuru Reef Breakthrough widens every sector for boat flanks, adds two RHIBs and a warehouse objective to sector one and a waterway objective to sector three, and cuts sector four to one docks objective

Interdictor now deals 80 minimum damage to chest and limbs, drops its 150-damage sweet spot, and hits armor for 100 in REDSEC

RCB90 Patrol Boat health rises from 800 to 1000 with sharper steering; the Little Bird minigun overheats about 33% sooner and does half damage to boats and ATPs

Carrier Strike adds out-of-bounds zones on the carrier decks against spawn camping, and jets stop spawning on a breached carrier

Custom Lobbies extend to Rush, Breakthrough, Escalation, Domination, both Deathmatch and Obliteration modes, and Custom Experiences, spectating to follow

Ranked gains an AFK kick system, AFK reports through EA Connect, and a pre-lobby leave grace period up from 30 seconds to three minutes

PlayStation 5 scopes may show thick black borders until 1.4.3.5 lands in a few weeks

Reticle overhaul on a single optic, before vs after 1.4.3.0 Nine red dot, crosshair and scope reticles, before vs after 1.4.3.0 "Pilots will have to break off attacks earlier or wait for the missile trail to find its source, making the MANPAD a more effective deterrent and its user less vulnerable to immediate retaliation." — The Battlefield Team
